This feels like a classic Freida McFadden book
-it didn't wildly surprise me, and it felt a bit like something I've read before. While there were some really good sections, it wasn't quite enough to make it a four-star read for me. The characters were somewhat flawed and not too interesting, and the ending was fairly predictable. I really wish the author had given us something a bit more unique, especially since I found the protagonist kind of annoying.
